FTP CredentialsYour FTP credentials are the same as your Virtualmin login details. The FTP server hostname is your domain name or the server IP provided in your welcome email.
Recommended FTP Clients- FileZilla — Free, cross-platform (Windows, macOS, Linux)
- Cyberduck — Great for macOS and Windows
- WinSCP — Popular on Windows
- Protocol: FTP or SFTP (recommended)
- Host: yourdomain.co.za or server IP
- Port: 21 (FTP) or 22 (SFTP)
- Username: Your Virtualmin username
- Password: Your Virtualmin password
Upload your website files to the public_html directory. This is the web root — any files placed here will be accessible via your domain.
