Configuring IMAP/SMTP Settings for Email Clients

To access your HostVyx email account from an email client, use the following settings:

IMAP Settings (Recommended)
  • Server: yourdomain.co.za
  • Port: 993
  • Security: SSL/TLS
  • Authentication: Normal password
SMTP Settings (Outgoing)
  • Server: yourdomain.co.za
  • Port: 465 (SSL) or 587 (STARTTLS)
  • Security: SSL/TLS (465) or STARTTLS (587)
  • Authentication: Normal password
Common Email Client Guides
  • Microsoft Outlook: Add account → Manual setup → IMAP
  • Thunderbird: File → New → Existing Mail Account
  • Apple Mail: Add Account → Other Mail Account
  • Android/iOS: Settings → Add Account → IMAP

Note: Replace "yourdomain.co.za" with your actual domain name. If your domain DNS has not fully propagated, use your server hostname instead.
